We source pre-loved stock from personal record collections, house visits and auction lots. We do not deal in new vinyl records, unless they happen to be part of a bought collection. Sometimes we will also buy record decks, amplifiers and hi fi separates.

 

There are records for all buyers but we try to keep stock that appeals to the general buyer and provide music that covers a wide range of decades and genres. 

 

Royal Owl Records understands that vinyl records can be expensive, even second hand. We pride ourselves on our sensible pricing policy and most of our stock will fall within the £6 – £20 price range. 

 

We try very hard not to present music for sale that could be badly scratched or defect in some other way. We will sell records with minor surface markings that are unlikely to be heard during playback. Occasionally a damaged record will make it through to the sales shelf. Our returns policy is simple – if you are not happy with the record purchased, bring it back with proof of purchase for an exchange or full refund.
